Divine Discontent

I’ve been blogging since 2009 at wordpress.com until I finally decided to self-host this blog. The focus of this blog has always been and always will be to glorify Jesus Christ and to share Him and my life in Him with anyone who will listen. Since I first started blogging I titled my site “Christ the Center.” I changed the name to Divine Discontent because it best describes how I’ve felt for the past few years. There’s always been something in me that said there was more to this Christian life thing than the status quo. I’ve always found satisfaction in Christ but at the same time I have always had this discontent in me, like there’s something more. I heard the term “divine discontent” for the first time when reading According to Christ by T. Austin Sparks and it instantly stuck to me.
